it did not go over my head. youre saying the packers offense has suffered so horribly without him basically that he should be considered MVP because they wouldve been a lot better if he were playing, just like people were saying about Peyton Manning when he missed the season for his neck injury a few years back. It was a stupid reference then and its a stupid one now in my opinion...

so GB offense isnt a shell of itself without him?

  • Unless the argument is focusing on a single offensive/defensive statistic (which it isn't), the "look who they have played argument" is about as dumb as it gets.   They don't make the schedule....th

i would say injuries on the offensive line and lack of depth on the offensive line are more of an issue for GB than one missing WR. his absence may play a role in it to, but i cant blame it solely on him being out of the lineup with injury...

Their offensive line and run game was worse pre Lacy and their offense was flourishing /w Jordy in their WR core. Their O line isn't great but it isn't the sole issue. Their WR's just can't get open, Adams isn't fast enough to be a deep thread and Cobb ins't a good #1 receiver healthy or not.

i didnt say oline was their only issue for struggling on offense, i said i think it was more of issue than one missing WR and that Nelsons absence plays a role in it. The Packers offense was much better earlier in the season when their oline was healthy and Nelson was missing then, thats my reasoning for placing most of the struggles on the oline injuries and depth. Cobb is supposed to be your deep threat, Adams problem is he has no hands, and Jones is getting older. Also, the WRs do have trouble creating separation and the route concepts on passing plays havent been very good as of late is another thing i read recently. but despite all that, i also said my Redskins team cant afford to over look any team, even if its a team considered to be struggling. I expect a challenge come sunday...

and maybe i ought to be careful what i wish for, but I am glad Tom Coughlin is stepping down as coach of the Giants. he has been a thorn in our side for years...

Peyton played! Go Denver!!

They barely beat the hapless Chargers.  Peyton took one of the hardest hits I have seen on a QB.  He has to be hurting today.  Doubt they make the big game!

those dreadful Redskins have put the Eagles out of the playoffs the last two years, have beat the Eagles in 3 straight games as well. I thought Kelly would do ok after his first couple seasons, then he got roster power and it ruined him. He has to learn in the NFL its more about players and their talents than it is about scheme. He failed to build relationships with his players as well...

The redskins didn't put the eagles out of the playoffs last year.  It was a colts loss to the cowboys i believe that did them in.  This year, sure the redskins had a win at the end of the season but really it was the crappy kicking game early on that cost us 2-3 games and losing to teams we should have beaten like the lions and/or bucs.  The Eagles underachieved where the redskins pretty much played at their level, which is;t even that good.  They were the best of the crappy teams....

Yes he was hammered. No flag either.. I just wish the stripes would call the game proper..either it's roughing the passer or not.

I'm just about excited about the teams we have left to rout against!

GO BRONCOS!

Bronco's hold #1 spot so they should go far into the playoffs.

Carolina may go far into the playoffs as can Arizona.

So who do you think are one and done?

I think the one's and done's are Houston, Cinncy, Minnesota and Washington.

Of course, all four of the above have good chances of winning as they are playing at home.

Rooting for KC and the Bengals today. Who's your pick?

I'm rooting for anybody playing against the Steelers, so GO Bengals!  :)

KC has homefield advantage, so I give the nod to them.  But that's a really tough game to call.  They're equally matched.

UGh, I should have started a Fantasy playoff challenge for you guys.

Wild Card Weekend Predictions:

Chiefs

Seahawks

Steelers

GB-I hate this game....not confident choosing either one. I just don't have any respect for Gruden.

JJ Watt was a dud! Chiefs just put in some work!

vontaze burfict deserves a massive fine and a suspension next year.  That entire fan base of CIN at that game should be ashamed of themselves for cheering when Brown went down after Burficts hit and throwing things at Ben when he was carted off. They deserved this loss for acting like a bunch of children.

I really hope that Burfict is gone for at least half the year. That piece of trash doesn't belong on a field.

I think Marvin Lewis is all but gone as well. How about instead of running the ball /w under 2 left you take a knee /w a rookie QB and kick the FG to make them have to score a TD /w no timeouts, idiot.

Watching Dion Sanders trying to defend the hit on Brown might be the dumbest thing you could do right now, moron.

Agree... Should of been thrown out of the stadium. .

The first two games of Wild Card Weekend probably didn't play out like the NFL had Hoped.

Though to call that mess a "Good Product"

And at this point, why every NFL organization does not invest in & play TWO First string QB's is hard to understand.  There just too much history to indicate it's needed and too much invested in the rest of the team not to.

Total lack of discipline. How do you give up 30 yards on back to back penalties at the end of the game?

KC at NE.

As the Tuna used to say: "They're no ham and egger".
