Couldn't pick a better member than Ghoti for the job.  Well respected in my book.

Long Mike retiring?  Impossible.  I'll miss the 'Good night Irene' thread closings.

All in all great site guys.  Good group of people here and never a dull moment.  Many more years to come I'm sure!

Carry on boys.

Gentlemen, thanks for all your well wishes.  I made my decision to step down as a Moderator reluctantly, but I couldn't, in good conscience, continue.  My wife is recovering from a near-fatal brain hemorrhage, and the road back will be a very long one.  My attention is now focused on her, and not on helping out on these forums.  I thank Glenn for giving me the opportunity to contribute and wish Gary all the best.  I know that he will be a real asset to the members.

Mike,

Your wife is in my prayers.  My mom had an aneurism back in '84.  We were most fortunate, as she made a complete recovery.

If I can help in any way feel free to contact me via pm.

You and your wife will be in my prayers. We all wish you the best Mike.

Found this pic to complete my introduction for those of you I haven't met. I assume you all recognize Glenn, Roadwarrior in his ubiqutous hat and Long Mike. I'm the other one.

Hey Gary, congrats! I know you'll do a great job and you're a great guy. I still hope to fish with you one day. I'll make a trip to Illinois one of these days.

And to Long Mike, my prayers are with you and your wife I hope there is a full recovery.  You're a great guy also. It was a pleasure to meet both of you on the road trips that I went to

Hey Mike

So sorry to hear about your wife. I hope everything worked out for her.

I’m new to boats & was wondering how you blocked your tracker livewell water input ?

Mike has a screen fitting, the boats in the water and I can’t tell how to remove it so I can block it and stop taking on water during this season.

I’d appreciate any advice to stop the system leak before the bilge can’t keep Up.

Thanks,

RedA
