Social media?

Featured Replies

There should be a thread for posting social media accounts. Instagram, twitter, Facebook etc...

For those willing to post there accounts I'd love to check them out and see what the people on this site are catching.

No instagram for me. I have a burning hatred for social media that goes far beyond what I can express. Haven't logged into my facebook account in about 4 years, and I am much happier because of it.  But once I finally get to go out and catch something nice again, I'll post it on that latest catch thread...maybe you'll even recognize my spots. ;)

We were so much better off before "social media."  It's not going anywhere though.

It is indeed, as are all the other message boards, blogs, and professional networking sites I visit. I never said I wasn't a hypocrite...

Bassresource is my social media! No facebook, twitter, or instagram for me. I do have a fishing blog if you wanna give that a look, most of the stuff on there gets posted here anyways though. http://everythingthatswims.blogspot.com/

I'm guessing you're from the Flying G area of Mid Michigan? We got some of the same lakes listed as our favorites lol

I only belong to BR, and a couple of other forums.  Years ago I had someone online pretend to be me.  That pretty much killed my urge for social media.

My facebook page has more metal detecting than fishing .

Twitter is fantastic for staying up to date on anything.  I follow sports writers from my favorite teams.  I also follow certain fishing shows and people who share tips.  Most times you'll see news posted on Twitter before you'll see it anywhere else.

I am on most social media platforms.

I use some more than others.
