Let's See Your Taclke Box!

Featured Replies

Post a picture of your tackle box!

I just bought a new one and already have added some modifications to it.  I'm curious to see other's customizations and how you organize it!

How about a pic of yours?

Which one? I have like 40 of them ;)

I bought a new Plano M series 3700 so I could get rid of my Dora the explorer bag my buddy affectionately calls it. Well to my disbelief and his happiness I still need it lol. Well at least for tournament fishing. I will just stuff it with all my plastics. My Plano isn't anything special but I can't say to much as I only messed with it to fill it up. What I can say was the zippers were easy to use and if they last that will be a plus but again it seems to easy. It has plenty of space, pockets, and the amount you can store in it. It will hold 8 3700 boxes. Pockets everywhere and they seem to be well placed. I will try to take pics later.

I bought a Spiderwire Orb Spider Fishing Bag.

I was able to fit five medium sized boxes inside it, instead of the advertised four (came with two).  I also fit three smaller ones for hooks/sinkers/swivels.

TedderX I hope you realize these guys are just messing with you. There are lots of tackle/gear/boat/fish pictures here but most have so much tackle they need a bus to transport it to the lake. I'm a 4th tier piker and have 4 plano soft bags with the main compartments filled, they each hold (4) 3700 series plastic boxes and most of my bags have additional plastic boxes stuffed in the side compartments. I have more excess and overflow tackle today than I had total 4 years ago. I could probably make it to the end of my life without making another visit to a tackle store but that's probably not gonna happen, I have some line and another wopper plopper due to be delivered on Monday. This hobby borders on sickness.

I keep my spinner baits and buzz baits in yet another separate spinner bait box and I cram about 100 plastics bags into a duffle. I have well over 1000 bags of plastics and again I'm a piker.

But the beauty of bass fishing is you can be very successful with just a few inexpensive tackle items and having a bunch of stuff sometimes makes things worse because you can never find things and sometimes it's just too hard to make a decision on what to use.

Welcome to the forum TedderX. You mods are actually quite nice and I thank you for sharing them.

I didn't know boats were considered tackle boxes.  Lol!

Just finished sewing the water bottle holder:

Good lord!  You many need to visit "lures anonymous"  lol!

I can relate. My next house has a storage shed dedicated to rods, reels, and lures. I could also fish for the rest of my life without ever buying another thing, and that includes line. But again, that won't happen

I can take a picture, but I won't be able to get it small enough to post it.

^ My normal tackle box

^ My tackle box if I fish out of someone else's boat. I usually have a few binders and another bag for plastics that comes with as well.

I showed up for a club tournament once with just this bag and 3 rods in my boat.
