What does your chatter bait set up consist of? 

I used a 7ft mh with either 12 or 20lb flouro depending on how this the grass is. The reel is a 6.1:1 gear ratio. Generally the same setup as spinnerbaits. 

7'3 medium heavy with 40# braid and a 6.8:1 reel

7' med/fast rod with either a 6.3:1 or 7.1:1. Either 40# braid with a mono or flouro leader or straight 12-15 pound mono or copoly

I use a Dobyns 703 , a curado 6.3:1 reel with 12lb suffix mono. Same with spinnerbaits

I chuck mine on a Phenix X3 Glass Crankbait rod, with an Abu Garcia Gen2 Revo STX spooled with 20# FC Sniper!

6' 6" MH/F LTB/100B Curado with 15lb Pline Xtra strong or Big Game. 

Big fan of glass/composite for bladed jigs.  I use a 7' H glass Powell Max, 6.3:1 Curado I and 17lb Flouro. 

Dobyns 734c with a 6:3:1 Curado and 17lb flouro

 

I use the same rig that I use for spinnerbaits.   Currently that is a 6'8" AETOS  MH- Ex fast.   Reel is currently an older Calcutta TEGT with 17 lb mono.

I use a Dobyns Savvy 703 with a Revo STX and #12 FC. I feel I need to move up to a 704 if I add a trailer.

been using my 6'10" MH/F Daiwa Tatula, 7.1:1 Lew's Pro Z and 15lb big game mono - same set up for spinnerbaits

7' MH St. Croix Mojo, with a 7.1:1 Lews, with 15lb P-Line fluro. This is the same rod I use for spinnerbaits, as well.

Tatula 6'10" mh fast 12lb Yo-Zuri

Daiwa Tatula 7' 2" MH/R rod and a Daiwa Tatula Type-R in 8.1:1 with 12lbs P-Line Floroclear

6'10" MH Daiwa Cielo with a 6.4:1 Lew's Tournament MG spooled with 15 lb Big Game or Seaguar Red Label.

Phenix M1, Cuado I reel spooled with 12# Yo Zuri.

6'6"-7' MH fast action rod. I'll throw them on whatever line, but I can't use a soft rod or snapping it away from vegetation becomes a real headache.

7ft MH moderate St Croix MOJO with an OG Daiwa Fuego spooled with 16lb Sniper.
