3.8" Fat Impact on a 3/0 long shank.  Sometimes I stick a nail weight across the head to get it down faster.  This is my confidence bait and has passed the Ned rig as my most catching lure.  I like it

3.8" Fat Impact on a 3/0 long shank.  Sometimes I stick a nail weight across the head to get it down faster.  This is my confidence bait and has passed the Ned rig as my most catching lure.  I like it because I can cast it a mile, it comes through cover, I can skip it pretty well, and the bass seem to love it.  I also use it on a 1/16oz 2/0 Rugby head, but only then in current.

Ned Rig 1/15oz, Keitech 2.8" with a 1/16oz jig head and a SK Red Eye 3/4oz. I've been shore pounding after work and doing pretty well.

Right now I'm having strange luck using light tackle.

LM Bass from 14-16" have been hitting 2" easy shiner, 1.5" Sliders, and just yesterday I landed an 18" bass on a 3" Kalins grub.

I actually stocked up on these in all colors before they went out of business. Still my favorites. For some reason to me they work better than the booyah ones.
