If you have 10, 20, or 100 credit cards you might already have bad credit. A credit check or 3 isn’t going to hurt if you have good credit. I’m not rich, but my credit score is bullet proof.

Every time you open a new credit card it affects your score by 5 points.

 

Obviously not a big deal if you already have good credit.  Just make sure you pay it off if you intend to use it.  Scheels is looking to rope in people who aren't capable of managing their card balance on a timely basis with a really high interest rate.

 

Quite often they will just deactivate it after a period of time without activity.

Yeah I will typically open one like this and close it a couple months later.

Fyi the Scheels card will have like a 25% interest rate so I definitely would not leave a balance on it.

Stopped at the local Walmart tonight. $1.50 shim-e-sticks, googans baits $3, $2.50 senkos, kvd squarebills $3.50 random colors and models of jigs  on clearance, jigs,rooster tails, etc.  Dumped $40 for no reason but they were good deals.. They also had a bunch of lews b.c.  combos on clearance for well under $100

Oh - Warehouse mistake. Years ago I ordered a 330yd spool of Trilene XL 4# from the Warehouse...they sent me a 3000yd spool. Happens occasionally.

So with this Omina Pro thing, I feel bad using it to buy 1 berkley bait and having them ship it to me. Am I being silly and just go ahead and order it? The crazy part is I did a 14 dollar 3 item terminal order yesterday.

@Cgolf I try not to place small orders, but sometimes I just need a couple items and end up ordering anyway, especially when they have 20% off sales on certain brands. I don’t have a solution. I’ll let Omnia figure it out.

Same, that is the issue. I tried to get some jig heads during the terminal tackle sale, but they lumped them in with the bass jigs so I just got three packs of hooks. The hyper focused sales put you in a box, so glad I signed up for the pro thing. The only temptation is a Cull Shad, but I already have a mag draft to try, and I am not convinced the N WI bass want swimbaits that big and the will just get toasted by toothy critters. 
 

I also have a hyper focused list of soft swimbaits, swimbait hooks and jigs, and jerkbaits. All part of my plan to beat the monkey.

Have you tried big 6" Swimbaits for bass up there? Just seems that my big N WI bass have all come on smaller lures. My vacation lake isn't that much further N than where you all are at.

I have not. I think @Fishin Dad said he intended to use more of them this upcoming season though.

A 3 lb bass up here will still easily annihilate a 6" swimbait. An 8" even. You won't get as many bites on these lures but point is, for me at least, is looking for that 5-plus pound bass.

 

The 6" Cullshad is pretty diminutive compared to some other swimbaits of the same size. 1-2# bass will easily eat that thing. As will pike, as you mention. 😄

By the time I went to order the cull shads were gone and luckily I was able to order one of the Finisher jerkbait things. I know it is a FFS bait, but I have liked the 6th sense hyperjerk, but feel it sometimes it runs to high, hoping the finisher has a similar action but runs lower in the water column.

 

So lesson learned on these sales order quickly if looking at popular items.
