I've been trying to order reel replacement parts from them;  I leave messages but receive no call back.  Anyone know if this is a dead issue?

For those that like the Lews Speed Stick, they can be found for about half price at Midway USA. I’ve never used one so I’m not vouching. I will, however, vouch for the Cashion Icons they have for about 30% off. I can find nothing I don’t like about my  Icon spinning rod.

Anyone who lives in the Cincinnati area, they are closing the Basspro off 275. Running lots of clearance specials on baits / rods / reels

Last time we were there, the workers mentioned they were closing both the Bass Pro and the Ca elas and opening a new location.

 

Any idea where? Or how soon it will be open?

Bass Pro in Irvine CA going to be open very soon. It is in a EX-Walmart Location and they going to have 150000 sqf bass pro store there.

I cannot imagine a Bass Pro in a former Wal-Mart. Seems the ceilings would be a tad low.

Bass pro is closing this Saturday. Cabelas is closing end of Feb when the New store is ready to open. New store is located in West Chester close to Top golf (along I-75)

I looked it up saw that. Sounds like the new location will be quite the sight!! Scheduled to open Feb 21st with lots of celebrities there. I think they mentioned Roland Martin, Jimmy Houston, KVD and others

Academy has extra 30% off clearance. Local store had red lipless from SK tungsten, 6th sense, spro, and several others I don't remember. Also got booyah covert spinner baits, rage tail swim baits, and a few other things I didn't need 😂

It was online as well, but that has now ended. They seem to always be running a sale, but it only applies to clearance items which usually isn't much good stuff. I got lucky in store that they had some quality items in the clearance rack. 

Omnia has Shimano SLX MGL 70 reels on sale for $109. Couldn't say no to that one.

yup...because I just bought a different reel because I didnt want to fork over mgl 70 money
