Cabela's has Whopper Ploppers 90 for $8.99. Only problem is they are all on backorder so if you don't need them today it ain't a bad deal. They also have the 130 for $13.99 with most colors also backorder.

Cabelas has their tourny ZX crankshaft rods on sale right now + 20% off cabelas brand merch WITH free shipping ($50 minimum purchase).

So you can get any of the 3 sizes for $55.99 shipped. That's crazy cheap for a deep cranking rod.

Cabela's has ploppers on sale at the OKC store - 130s $10.49 and 90s $8.49. Some good colors, they'll go fast. Idk if it's for all Cabelas stores but it's defnitely worth a try for those prices.

If anyone wants to dip their toes into fly fishing, Fishusa has the scientific angler bass combo on sale for $65.  I just picked one up so I can chuck those bigger flies.

That's a really good deal

Honestly i dont know cause I just walked up on it accidentally, but I definately capitalized on it

Congrats on the awesome deal, I would've stocked up on enough pointers to last a lifetime for that price.

Speaking of which, what gen is this Revo SX? Do I want it for $88?

I looked at that SX too.  I'm guessing it is not a gen 3 since the product designation is RVO3 SX.  I have the RVO3 SX and have been very happy with it.  I didn't go for it since it seems to be a previous generation.  They are not always spot on with naming though: Veritos?

I got the 7'10" Heavy for big hard swimbaits (gantarel, etc). Decent rod, haven't caught any fish on it yet but jeez if I can't throw that gantarel halfway across the world...

I'm wondering though, is it glass or graphite or a "blend?" Online it says graphite, on the rod it says "composite," and the rod is super super thick.

edit: I realize after typing this, it's obviously some combination of glass & graphite. dumb question

I got a email from Lew's with some deals September 26th - October 9th on some rods and spinning combos. As for Baitcasting rods they had these David Fritts Crankbait Speed Sticks $50 off a $110 rod. Pretty good price cut if the rods are decent. I have never used them. David Fritts Crankbait Speed Stick.JPG

There were others as well

I can forward anyone who wants the complete email just PM me your email. It says at the bottom of my email:

Quantities are limited! Email your orders to CustomerService@lews.com, fax them to 417.881.5387, or call 877.470.5397.

I didnt see any sale on the Lew's website so I guess you have to have the email to see all the deals. There rest I think were all different spinning reels, rods, or combos.
