If you're not picky about brand wait for the TW 25 Days of Savings Christmas sale, they had some *ridiculous* deals on Powell Inferno and LuckyCraft rods last year, along with some other brands.

Yea I remember I almost picked up an inferno. I'll definitely be watching that sale, but it's not a huge priority. I don't crank a whole lot so like I said it's got to be an insane deal. 

Will things go out of stock? If I want to buy stuff that is on sale currently, will it go out of stock too? Should I stay up until midnight to purchase?

Susquehanna fishing tackle has 20% off most items online through monday. Sale went live yesterday.

Things will go out of stock, but it depends  somewhat on whether you're looking for high-demand stuff. Things that are already on sale  may or may not get snatched up quickly, but if they were really high demand, they probably would have sold out already. But the sale wont' go live until friday morning pacific time at some point. I'm on Eastern, so that translates to about 12-1pm or thereabouts for me. Last year the site got overloaded almost immediately once the sale was posted. 

You can also check Monster fishing tackle or Susquehanna fishing tackle to see if they have what you want. They also have 20% sales over the weekend, and both are already live.

I am thinking of just going to Academy and buying a Mojo Bass rod.. surely it will be a small % off on Black Friday eh?

Sale starts at 10am PST (noon central) tomorrow (11/25). Things will go out of stock but you will still get it for the sale price. It may just take a while to get to you. They will ship what is in stock and ship the back order at a later date.

I think the only one which they usually don't offer it on is Megabass

I called them during their 15% off sale in July, and Megabass was included (only gift cards were excluded). I purchased a MB Orochi XX rod with a 15% discount.

Try giving them a call and see what happens.

Does the sale go through the weekend? I am not partaking but my Father in law may if he can order over the weekend. 

I read it's 5 days right into the beginning of 25 days of Christmas, sounds too good to be true. Guess we will find out and I forget where I read it.

It's nov 25 starting at 10am PST through Nov 29 5 PST. 

It's literally posted on every social media account TW  has. It's been up for a week or two.
