worked for me. keep trying. I've had it deny it the first few tries and then suddently accept it.

Hmmm... I put a Shimano reel in my cart and it did not reflect the discount. I went all the way up until the point of letting them charge my card before bailing.

it will reflect the discounted price after payment/order confirmation. if you don't want to do it that way then just call them and they will do it for you or tell you do do exactly what I just did.

Hm, it let me use it after a few tries but it showed up as $0.00 off.  I'll have to keep trying.

To everyone questioning the fhabaq214 code, it showed up -0.00 in my cart, but when I got my email confirmation it had been applied and said -5.00.

The FHABAQ214 code hasn't worked for me on any sales since the memorial day one last spring, although I did get it to work on a non-sale order in October. I didn't think of it this time, or I would have tried again. Oh well. It's hard to complain about not getting a free $5.

Even though they were backordered from the first minute I ordered a Pfluegar President LE from Cabela's this morning for $49.99. Hope it actually ships someday though. The last item I backordered from them I had to cancel after 5 months to make a camping trip.

I picked one up in store on Friday morning after eyeing them for a while. They look incredible on lighter colored blanks like my Fenwick. Can't wait to try the new President XT as well!
