My gut says no. Bama gonna win it all. But, you never know. All it takes is one bad game, or actually one bad series in a game, and anybody can lose. With the top 4, anything is possible. I'd say any of the top 4 can win. But if I was a betting man, my $ would be on Bama.

Clemson is looking pretty solid tonight.  I think it'll be a good game but the Bama D is something else.  Go Vols.

Yeah, Clemson taking OSU to the wood shed. Still not sure they can beat Bama. 

I don't know how strong a team Ohio State was, but Clemson embarrassed them.  I've always been a Bama guy,but that Clemson D-fence looks gooooooood.

 

Championships are won on the defensive side of the line and I think Bamasux has the superior defensive unit.

 

Will be a fun game to watch.

UW played them closer than I expected, if not for a pick 6 and a 68 yard TD run they played a 3 point game against each other for the rest of the game. Clemson roasted the Big Ten's flag bearer, which to me was hilarious after they claimed conference dominance all year (and Michigan already lost their bowl game as well). I just think Alabama's defense is too good for them to lose barring a fluke, and even though Hurts has been playing like a freshman lately he's still the best QB I can ever recall them having in recent memory. They could go several more seasons without losing a game if he comes back better next year.

I find it humorous as well that the Big10 was touted so highly by all the college football experts and their conference bowl record is horrible. ACC seems to be king of the hill this year. 

LSU's defense held them to a field goal & the officials gave em a touchdown but our offense had problems executing.

 

Bama defensive weakness is the pass; against Ole Miss the defense gave up 421 yds passing & 43 points!

With Kiffin being gone for the Nat. championship there will likely be confusion with  Bamas offence.But it might be that him leaving might help them.Such a whiny- baby.

After revisiting your post and thinking about it I do know of a team that could give Bamasux a difficult time and could win the game: The Green Bay Packers.

I hope it's a high scoring game. I want to see Bama and Clemson put up 50 each. But, I think it will be a boring 7-3 game. 

It was high scoring last year. My biggest complaint is they aren't starting til 8 pm. Gonna be after 11 before the game is over. Some of us gotta get up & go work for a living. ?

Ridiculous! The game should be played on the weekend or at least start earlier. I'm not a night owl either, so it's VERY unlikely I will see the second half live.

After tonight...I will go back to not favoring any team.  I like watching the young athletes grow, especially the one's with good heads on their shoulders.

Well, you might've called it. Def not a high scoring game. Unless some offensive explosions happen in the next qtr. 

 

Glad the game actually kicked off at 7:15. I guess the 8 pm game time I kept hearing was eastern time. It's still gonna end late tho.
