Zoom Lures

Featured Replies

Well, decided to visit the Zoom factory today and it was a treat! They are very close to my Grandmother's house and we decided to stop by and check it out. We called ahead and when we walked in it was amazing to see the process of how the lures were made. It was very cool seeing the effort that goes into producing a bag of soft plastics and the people who were responsible for my success with their lures. They gave my brother and I each a hat, shirt, and a pack of unreleased frogs! The lady who showed us around was very kind and knowledgeable about the company. Just a sort of shout out to a great company.

Also, the new frogs are a great addition to the zoom lineup, louder than a horny toad. Can't wait to fish them!

Zoom is a good company, they will sell direct and bulk qty's. I ordered some custom G Tail worms a few years ago June bug with blue tails, good folks to work with.

One of my Favorite companies.  Have caught tons of fish on Flukes, trick worms, centipedes, and u-vibes.  Priced well and they flat out work!

Love the brush hogs.  They make a great variety of plastics.

That's my personal favorite lure.

I think of Zoom as the standard for how to balance good design, good composition, sheer variety, and number of bodies for the price. Lots of other companies do better on 1 or more of these by sacrificing the others, but I don't think anybody else gets closer to the sweet spot in the middle.

My favorite plastics, great colors and styles.Real close to the house makes it nice too.

I heard the smallies love the color bubble gum (pink for those of us not worried about our manhood) so....

Sorry but I don't know if they would want me to do that. I don't know what their intentions are for it or when it will be released, but I will tell you it is a great new addition to the Zoom lineup. If I had to guess it will be ready for retail pretty soon, they were already packaged and ready to go.

LAME SAUCE ! They wouldn't be giving it away if they didnt want people seeing it.

Did a little searching and saw that another site <---(which keeps getting changed to "another site") got them in a couple days ago, you can see them there. A bit pricey for me, although they are airbrushed and made from what feel like a durable soft plastic.

That sounds like a great trip.

I hate to tell you this but they aren't going to give out some secret prototype baits to 2 random schmoes if they didn't want them out.

I just wanted to tread lightly after they were so generous, if you understand what I'm trying to say. I completely hear what you're saying though. I couldn't find it anywhere online until about an hour ago so wasn't sure if/when they were releasing them.

And the site that has the frogs is L and B ig F ish

Got this pic off the Zoom website.

I got an email when they went up for sale on their site. Being a big fan & user of Zoom baits, I was intrigued. But $10 for a pack of 3 is a bit too pricey for me. They'd have to be super durable for me to give em a try. Especially since Horny Toads & Ribbit frogs are both so productive for me & much cheaper.

I'm kinda surprised Zoom came out with a bait at this price point. One of their biggest selling points is productive soft plastics at a great price. I'd venture a guess that this is their most expensive soft plastic.

I visited the Manns factory at Eufala in 1980 and  bought four 100 packs of Jelly Worms .
