I've caught fish on mine. I have the middle size grey bat. If you like the Pompadour, you'll like the bat. It's actually not as noisy as I expected, but it gets their attention. 

One if these days I won't be able to resist the sales at Dicks anymore and I'll pick one up.  Definitely want to try. What's more fun than testing out new topwater lures?

Savage gear rules! I have almost all their swimbaits. Durable, affordable and they flat out work. 

It looks like a good "crawling" type of bait. The fact that it's a bat is an irrelevant gimmick.

I don't know that I'd call it a "gimmick", as fish do certainly eat bats in the rare occurrence they come in contact with them, but I look at it as another crawler that just happens to look like a bat. No way do I believe a fish sees it and gets excited because it's going to get to eat a bat.

I much more prefer the Spro Rat 40. My go to top water this year.

I have a bat, and yesterday I won a Joker in a raffle ?

I am starting to think that baits like the rat, duck, WP and now the bat are all so similar it doesn't matter.  This year I caught similar numbers on the 110 As I did last yr on the rat.

Admitably, water conditions can change things a bit, but I see these as largely the same.

I will be passing in this one.

Let's take predictions on next years. I say a penguin!

There's baits in colors they call penguin, but no actual penguin imitations yet
