Sweet ~ Way to start out the new year !

What a bag of ridiculously stout pre-spawn Fatties.

That place is seriously fertile.

Hope there's some video of that action . . .

Congrats

Awesomeness! Congratulations on a new PB bag o bass! Definitely some big uns! My dad and stepmom live in Gilbert, AZ. Are you anywhere near there? I'm hoping to get to go visit them out there some day and do some bass fishing. Been a long time since I've fished with my dad.

Cool pics. I know exactly where you’re at and your secret is safe with me partna. That place is inundated with Tilapia.  I’d love to join ya someday. PM me if you’re interested.

Amazing!  Those are some extraordinary fish!  I am curious what is the main forage that these bass are chowing down on.

The post above mine arrived while I was typing.  I think maybe I have my answer on the forage?

Haha thanks man. I love this place insane baitfish numbers and every fish pretty much is 5lbs or bigger. Got a couple videos I'll put something together. My buddy's that he got from the back were not on film unfortunately cuz my old navigation port mount broke and my aquastick hasn't came in yet.

Tilapia and shad are the main forage.  Millions of tilapia in here from 4" to 4lbs. That's the big bass stuff right there. From what I read if there is good tilapia base in a lake then the bass usually grow big and here it's rare to find a fish under 5lbs.

Crazy fat fish. Do they fight very well? Most of them look so fat that they seem like they'd have a difficult time even swimming.

Haha no not really. They get to surface and barely splash.

That's terrible.  It sounds like you need to go back to 1 - 3 lb fish that have some fight in them.  Right?  ;)

Lol na I'll sacrifice. The 8+lbrs fight once water gets into the 60s. Right now water temp is "cold" according to the arizonians at 58F. They talk about slowing down while I'm burning 6xds 😂😂
