Love night fishing. I mainly stick to darker colored baits at night except during bright moon phases when I'll fish the same colors I would during the daytime. I avoid treble hooked baits at night, just personal preference. My main baits are a bladed jig, Colorado bladed spinnerbait, T-rigged 10" worm, or a jig.

I think in summer time night fishing can be more productive than day time fishing, and as long as you have on mosquito repellent it can be a lot more comfortable than the Florida heat as well.  As far as lure selection, what you throw during the day will work at night.  I like to keep it simple and weedless since you can't see as well.  Black spinnerbait, black worms, black creature baits, and a black jig are all good choices that are fairly forgiving if you make a bad cast.  Can you throw other colors that aren't black? I'm sure you could, but I've never had a need to try.

Me and a buddy went last night and caught 10 bass between the 2 of us. Black and blue spinnerbait with Colorado blade and a black with green/red flake stick bait T-rigged caught all of our bass.

I've always done best when its hot, with a dark spinnerbait. If weeds are not a huge problem, a black buzzbait or black jitterbug can be really good. I've had some blowups close to the bank or boat that were spooky!

This!

I stay away from treble baits, and my go to is a bladed jig with a big paddle tail trailer. I burn it subsurface. I fish it hard and fast when I have the window figured out.

Usually a black Jitterbug, and a black spinnerbait.

Fish the same structure, cover, & depth you would during the daytime using the same lures & techniques.

We are in the middle of pre-spawn & night fishing has started. We're flipping Buck Brush & Button Willows with a Jig-n-Craw & Texas Rigged Liz-zards.

Same thing everyone is doing in daylight!

I used to know an old timer. He would only fish at nite. He would troll a Jitterbug just off shore, and did well.

I fish at night often for both freshwater and saltwater species of fish. Have caught some of my biggest bass at night.

For about half the year we won't put a boat in the water until it's dark. I don't change anything with my approach or colors. I never have more than four colors of anything anyways.

When the bite is in they're at all their normal hangouts doing their normal stuff.

I use the same lures as in the day but usually a darker version and have never had much luck deep .

I fish quite a bit at night during the summer. 3/4 oz black spinnerbait and a 10" worm almost exclusively. I usually use plum apple and cranberry colored worms. Find brush either around docks or on points. It's a blast
