I'm not sure what the fish off is....I know the tournament ended yesterday with them finishing 3rd. In the tournament section @A-Jay posted a pic of @everythingthatswims and his partner holding their trophies and Abu Garcia gear they won.

Fish off is to determine sole angler to go to the classic

I'm not seeing anything on Bassmaster about any fishing today. The team tournament ended yesterday with them finishing 3rd. All that's on Bassmaster is the team tournament results.

the Top 4 head to the 2018 Carhartt College Bracket presented by Bass Pro Shops, set for Aug. 14-16 on Milford Lake out of Junction City, Kan.

He's got a few weeks to get in some google earth study before he wins it

Didnt they use to do the bracket immediately after championship?

I think I remember them doing it that way before.

Now they can make a separate event just for the sponsorship dollars, I mean just for the bracket

They spaced it out to give the National Champions time to be the champs, because in years past, all of the attention shifts to the bracket winner and everyone forgets about who won the event. Excellent decision on their part, whoever takes it home worked their butt off to accomplish it, and deserves recognition!
