Greetings to my fellow fishermen

Featured Replies

I joined and I am really excited about being able to chat with other fishermen. I live in Brandenburg, KY. I fish Taylorsville, Rough River and Nolin Lakes, mainly. I like to go after Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted Bass, Crappie, Walleye,Sauger and White Bass.

Howdy, feller Kentuckian! What area do you fish, lakes or rivers?

I fish Taylorsville some. I like some areas of the Ky. river. I go to Stoner Creek and once in a while parts of Elkhorn Creek that are close to where I live. Fishing has not been very good there for a while.

For got to mention I once in a while I go to Cedar Creek Lake. I don't care much about going down there because every day is like being there on the weekend it gets hit so hard. It is the trophy lake where you can only keep one and it has to be 20" long.

Welcome

Yes sir! I really like Cedar Creek lake, but you are right, it is hard to fish because of all the boat traffic. You have to be careful and watch the idiots there, also. They run up and down the lake like they are you the only ones on the lake.

Thanks, J! I really appreciate the fact that you have all been so welcoming! It really shows the camaraderie that we fishermen/women have for one another!

Hello, and welcome!

Thanks, buddy! I'm really excited about being able to pick the brains of many different fishermen. I'm eager to learn new things and put some of the things I learn here to use.
