@YoTone I live about 5 minutes away from Marsh, but I've heard from a few guys on boats that the park rangers are calling people off the water with a bullhorn, so I've been sticking to the banks. And since the waters still mid40s, not a lot biting from the banks haha

@JediAmoeba and to think I almost took a trip up there this weekend to get away from all the craziness near Philly. Think I’ll wait a couple weeks and let things warm up a bit.

Water is holding around 40 degrees up here.

Freakishly warm weather yesterday. Decided to join some buddies to bank fish some secret spots that's been on fire lately. Buddy caught this on a Walmart spinner, she was hugging under some timber from a beaver dam.

caught a two pounder today up at the lake house. mom was walking the dogs so I decided to walk to the dam with her, two casts on a drop shot barely moving the bait, no bites. decided to pick up my flipping jig on my ne3w rod I customized just to test the feel out, flipped right along the wall and bam 2 Uber

Anyone here ever fished springton reservoir in media? Heard it’s great but illegal. Apparently on Sunday’s the fish police don’t work though. Having a tough time finding any viable spots with everything shut down

they do work but if you go before they start patrolling....

Yeah I don’t know much about the place. Some guy at the local tackle shop always talks about fishing there on Sunday’s.

@Quarry Man what's up! Yessir, fellow Marsh Creek angler. I've only caught perch in 2020 so far at MC, excited to get out there soon though! Looks like the bass fishing is picking up a bit. My PB is from Marsh Creek about a year and a half ago, a 4.5 pounder

@YoTone gotcha. I've only ever accessed that cove from boat, but maybe I can find some land access too.

yo Tone and I have wanted to get out together at some point. Adam Markley and I have also been talking. I am now seeing potential for a future meetup after the quarantine is through...

I don't know if boat registration ends today or tomorrow. Might also go depending on the weather. It can get pretty choppy for a small lake if there's any wind.  Granted you can paddle into the coves.

How about just fishing from the bank? I don’t have a kayak(yet) once this stimulus check comes that could change ?

there's a few spot, I have never tried it. It would be a lot of walking, and minimal access. I 100% recommend a boat. I would have no problem letting you tag along, but that would violate social distancing unfortunately. For sure once it all ends.

For sure, thanks. I’m gonna hold off on marsh creek then, and maybe try French creek

haven't fished there

There’s two lakes within the park. I’ve only fished either a handful of

times, but pulled out some decent fish each time.
