  • i rarely fish it. its a real pain of a 1 hour drive for me to get there. but......... cant complain about it that much when you can catch these in it once in a while.

  • April 15 Marsh creek reservoir. Windier than I expected. Having pedals made it barely manageable to get into position. Sun popped out for a few hours and I was targeting stumps and brush with a white

apparently my lake is closed, tried to take the kayak out got kicked immediately. our website say nothing about lake being closed, only the amenities like the beach and playgrounds

was fishing blue marsh like 3 times in the past two weeks and was on a good lipless bite. and a couple on football jigs. a decent one bit a squarebill close to shorline yesterday.

Was just about to say @Bruce424 thinking of heading to Blue Marsh, I'd love to get on a smallmouth bite. Not to busy there, is it? I'd like to keep some distance between me and other fishermen ?

on a nice day... yea it is boaters galore, casting at your feet?. i go on gloomy days usually...thats the norm for me anyway. but then you just have to deal with bucket fishermen. nows the time for smallies.

There's never been a day where I've caught 15 fish and thought "mediocre day" haha. Even if it's a total dinkfest!

I have had 25 fish days that were mediocre. Fun, but mediocre.  And if you think I am kidding, go fish the Delaware river.  You will catch lots of fish...2 pounders are hard to come by a lot of days.

@Quarry Man. I caught this just through the woods from you.

I was fishing a private pond of a family friend. I meant mediocre as they were all small fish, used to catching a lot more numbers there. Doesn't help water is 2' higher than last year, not sure why.

Awesome. I was up there a few days ago, I left because apparently my lake is closed. Not sure on the legality of that one.

Had an hour and a half at the Marsh today, threw a Ned rig around, missed three bites and hooked into a perch ?

I'll try again soon for sure!

Was at Marsh endlessly throwing a chatterbait and spinnerbait with nothing to show. then towards the end of the cove as i was lifting my chatterbait out of the water i see a muskie follow it. I drop it back into the water and i see her swim back and hammer it. Had her thrashing for a second or two then she spits the hook. Im now drinking away the pain.

youre not missing much.

bass fishing there right now is terrible.

this is the second time in a row that ive been skunked.  Sunday I fished the cove and noticed a guy painfully dissecting every laydown for hours and hours. we were fishing the opposite sides  and neither of us got a bite.  im physically exhausted  pedaling up and down  that whole place. maybe in a couple more weeks they'll be up shallow.

friend of mine says otherwise haha. he caught a 42" ski and four bass, biggest went 4-5 and 5-2

I probably wouldn't catch anything either haha
