Derek Remitz in ICU after major car accident.

Featured Replies

Former Elite Pro Derek Remitz was in a major car accident last night, resulting in serious injuries.  He has multiple broken ribs and lacerations plus blood in his lungs.  He is in critical condition after surgery last night, with another surgery scheduled to add a plate to his chest.

Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Ouch!

Word, too, elsewhere that Ott Defoe had heart surgery. Perhaps, this has been discussed?

Best wishes and hoping his Docs can get him healthy again.

Just read an update where Derek had a stroke before his surgery.  Still in ICU.
Prayers to both of them.

Prayers for Ott and Derek. Lord, lay your healing hands on both men.

Looks like his sister posted on FB that things are going well. Full recovery expected in due time. No brain damage.

Good to hear. Hoping for a full and speedy recovery to him, and to Mr Defoe, (even if he fishes a popper with a spinning rod tied with a loop knot).
