Nice catch. I can't really guess the weight because it could be all camera trickery though, especially in this photo.

My guess is that you’re going to the Bass Pro store or website and picking up a scale.

Nice fish.

Lol ? no i have one i have a picture with him and the scale she was a big 9lber

So, what's with all the background artifacts in the picture? Grass beneath, daylight on the lower right, Lots of blue and some black blotches around you. I'm trying to figure out if it was taken in the daytime or night.

Congrats on the new PB.

Congrats, anyone can see that's a Hawg.  But it's impossible to give anymore detail from that pick.  Enjoy your catch, it will always be in your memory.  I hope she was released in good shape!

Congratulations on your new personal best bass. Hard to tell from a photo but I would say it is over 7 pounds maybe more. That is a very nice catch from land in South Florida, even better if it was in public waters. Next time measure the length and girth to get a weight estimate. The following formula is good for estimating the weight of a bass;

Length X Length X Girth divided by 1200 = Estimated weight of a bass in pounds.

What’s up with all the photoshop? No way that’s an unedited photo.

There are some very large bass swimming around in South Florida.  Hard to guess an accurate weight from just a photo.  Looks like a pretty long fish.  Did you get a length?  From your hands, I'm guessing at least 8 pounds.  To weigh over ten, it needs more girth.  Looks like a healthy fish.  Nice catch!

Nice!

Next time try just resizing the image to make it smaller. Or if you have Photoshop, use "Save For Web". I thought maybe you edited it to hide the location you caught it.
