Current Favorite Hook Sharpener ?

I find most hook sharpeners either too course - or are not suited for bass treble or single hooks to get them sticky sharp  ... What is your favorite hook sharpener for bass hooks  as well as tips to get the most out of it so hook points will become  "catch on a finger nail" sharp ? Thanks in advance !

I use a pen style, diamond dust sharpener for treble hooks (Kraken) and a sharpening stone for single hooks like spinnerbaits and jigs. I like something a bit more aggressive for the thicker hooks.

The diamond file on a Leatherman gets the job done  fast   plus you also have a Leatherman .

I don’t sharpen them. I just replace them.

I have not tried a lot of different hook sharpeners, but this is the one I have settled on from Dr. Slick.  It gets the hook sharp enough to dig into my fingernail quick enough.

I always have a bunch of stones, files and diamond sharpeners around. I just make sure there's a couple of some sort of sharpeners in my bag and I can sharpen just about anything.

I've used a rock or a brick in a pinch, in some cases, the point is rolled rather than dull, so it's just a couple of passes.

I have this one too.  I got it off of Amazon a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the replies - good choices !

I saw one once on a Tactical Bassin' video that Tim Little had and it looked like a round yellow pencil style but he put the hook edge in the top and twisted the sharpener around almost like he was sharpening a pencil. I have searched and searched for that as I thought that was the best looking sharpener yet but I have never been able to find one :(.

I use two 5/32" chainsaw files/round files. I took a few to a local auto body shop and had them tack (weld) the ends so they're held together parallel. Cheap and highly effective. Best sharpener I've ever used. Quick and fast and really sharp.

These are the two I carry with me - stone for most of it, ceramic rod from a knife-sharpening kit for putting a needle point on.

I've been using a couple of different versions of this folding / pocket sized stone deal for years.

Very Decent

Good look on the recommendation...I ordered 1 of the pocket sharpeners yesterday and got it a few hours ago.  The little thing is legit, it out a rolled Jungle Hook and Trokar Skorpion SH really well.  Does much better with bigger hooks then diamond hone pens IMO.
