I just heard on the news that it hit 125 in BC! They are reporting a number of deaths and said the average summer temperature in BC was usually in the 70's.

My electric bill last June 2020 was the highest it’s ever been since I’ve been living here (2012). I never thought I’d see it that high again but I am quite sure this June will be even higher.

I hope humans start to take climate change seriously. We're talking about record breaking heat and melting hands. Until we start to combust I fear nobody will care because of their blowhard of choice.

We don't have heat, we have rain.

Working outside has my feet wet all day.  Then you gotta worry about walking in, and tracking mud.

Go to the beach and hook into god knows what, especially out on the surfboard with a old spinning rod I caught a 10lb stingray and a HUGE Ling that broke me off with its teeth I was using 15lb mono

Had a number of power failures in my hood.

Maybe time to get a whole house back up generator. We have lots of storm related power outages here, so many people have them. They kick in automatically and are hooked up to propane or gas. Expensive but worth it out here.

(Most) Humans care about nothing but more money. We are far too dumb to control the weather
