None of mine did - 2 Fuegos, 3 Pflueger BCs (4th was used so doesn't count), 4 Pflueger spinners and 4 Mitchell spinners - not one had oil in the box.

That’s messed up. I usually get reels from abu, daiwa and shimano. I think they all come with oil.

Might be a price-point thing - my Diawa Fuegos didn't enclose oil...maybe the Tatulas and up do...

The early Abu Ambassador reels came in a leather case, spare parts, tube of grease and oil.

I use CLP Breakfree in a small 1 oz sneeze bottle that comes with a straw to drop oil on worm gear or spool ends.

But sometimes the lug wrench doesn't fit the lugs on your boat trailer tires...

I found that one out the hard way.

Been there, now a 4 way lives under the seat

Haha.  That's what I bought too.

When I was a  Lew's guy every reel came with a little bottle of oil.  Diawa reels, no oil.  So I bought a bottle for something like $10, should last a lifetime though.

Maybe I'm misremembering, as it's been a couple few years or whatever, but I could have sworn that my Fuego casting reels came with oil.

I’ve bought bulk and it spilled too . In fact it spilled on a spool of 12 lb big game that I’ve been using for about 6-8 years, boy does that line slide through the guides nicely

I’ve yet to find a bottle that doesn’t explode in the heat

I don’t really know which do and which don’t. I know I have a bunch of them, because I use corrosionX 99% of the time.
