53/72.  I’m still trying to learn how to get the cruise control on my RAM.

Haha! My ram has windows you roll down with a handle. When my buddy’s young kids see it, they always say “can I roll the window down???? How old is this thing??”

My nephew bought a 2021 SILVERADO 2500 HD that has heads up display on the windshield.

I can't see a dang thing!

He keeps saying move you head over here or look straight right here.

I'm like dude I don't care what you say or where you point...I ain't seeing nuthin!

I think computers and other new tech. makes people lazy.  Just look at your TV remote.  Can you imagine someone so lazy they wont bother to tell their wife or kids to turn the TV channel?

  • @Mobasser I came into this world in 59 and graduated in 77, so we may be sort of cut from the same era cloth.  As the 'tech' came on I was pretty stubborn about getting on board. B

My wife was frustrated with me when I couldn't figure out how to do something she called simple with my phone (it wasn't simple, simple is using the phone to talk to someone). I told her to be patient

Yea it’s ridiculous. My mom has an outback with LED lights all over the dash and a screen with tinted windows . You might as well drive around with a blindfold on after dark

then there’s all the new fangled headlights riding too close behind you , blinding the driver even further.

I HATE new vehicles!

Yeah, Jeeps especially. Seems like they forgot to Adjust the headlights at the factory. I see new cars drive by my house at night, and the beams are shining 10 to 12 feet in the air, cuz they are lighting up the 40' tree trunks..

That sounds like an old car that was given to me in the 90s. The preacher that gave it to me had hit a deer and the grill was messed up. There was one strand of it left on the front right , and that was just enough for him to duck tape the headlight to it. I would always know when it was time to re-tape it, because the headlight would tilt upward the more the old tape let go. It would have made a great coon hunting light the way it shined the tops of trees, lol.

You know it’s bad when people waiting at a bus stop point and laugh when they saw me pulling up. And that was in the daytime!
