Mine is a "Well, Duh, Dummy" answer but I was pleasantly surprised by Green Pumpkin Senkos.  For YEARS I thought they wouldn't work because they were the "same color as the water" I fished.  Yeah...not so much...lol

I very honestly had the same mindset as you on that color becuase of the water color as well. But I was wrong lol

Googan Ratlin Ned tried and tried other neds and this one produced from the get go for me while the others I labored with trying to get bit.

Ned rig with that little 3” piece of elaztech plastic…. who’d da thunk it’d catch fish like it does, but it does catch ‘em!

There have been a number, but the "right now" hot bait for me is the 4" Z-Man Diesel Minnow in Mulletron rigged on a Z-Man 1/4oz Texas Eye weed-less jig head in Pearl eye. My two best fish so far this year have come on it, and it's getting a lot of attention. Due to the swinging head, kill the retrieve and the tail stands straight up. Sort of like a fish feeding off the bottom or a dead sticked ned.

And the durability is incredible too!

@Team9nine will back me up on this.  He's a record holder.

Yes he is and definitely agree about the durability of Elaztech!

Mine had to be a creature bait.  My friends were fishing with them and I thought "there is no way a bass is going to bite this thing with all the legs sticking out from it".  Boy was I wrong.
