It’s all just water! How you feeling buddy?

I’m good.  COVID had me feeling tired for about 48 hours and I had a mild cough for about a week.

Every time this question comes up, I get in trouble for saying rivers and lakes are one and the same in my area

  • Lakes..The shallower, weedier and dirtier the better.          Mike

Haha! There is one (1) natural lake In the entire state of Tennessee. It is called reelfoot lake and was formed by massive earthquake in the 1800s that caused the Mississippi River to flow backwards.

I've had better luck in rivers than lakes.

I avoid rivers when they are high , muddy and swift .

I don't fish them when they are running wild. I like them clear and slow.

California has 1 natural bass lake, Clear Lake and several Rivers in NorCal with the San Joaquin / Delta being considered a River system.

95% of my bass fishing is in reservoirs and 5% rivers or ponds, it’s what available. Bass fishing I prefer fishing out of a bass boat.

I prefer fishing the rivers rather than lakes but I like fishing both of course.Just something about getting back in a river and enjoying the peaceful setting which improves my confidence.

You're not wrong.

As for my choice, rivers 99 days out of 100. The other day, it's probably a local(ish) lake with long, rocky, almost riverine arms
