Bama bug or GP and Junebug

Featured Replies

The Bama bug looks like a laminate of Green pumpkin and Junebug together. Should I pick it up? or maybe buy both Green pumpkin and Junebug instead of bama bug

Okeechobee color is about the same thing, I use it and catch fish.
But…..I all so have green pumpkin and June bug colors too.
Had times when they wouldn’t bite okeechobee but, did June bug or green pumpkin.
In the end,…. I have all three colors.

Bait monkey got me again!

For plastic worms get something greenish, something black/blueish, something brownish, something light colored (motor oil, baby bass), and something bright (bubble gum/merthiolate).  Make sure you buy each of the green, black/blue, and brown both with and without shiny flakes in them.  You will have the entire spectrum of what the fish can see covered and will be prepared to fish clear and stained water in both cloudy and bright sun conditions.

Bama Bug and Junebug are great in stained water . I cant find a Bama bug Dinger around here right now. I   bought and used them all up . A pack doesnt last long . I've been biting the tails off used ones and putting them on Ned heads  , same thing , productive color .

Bama Bug for the win if you are trying to limit or simplify what you carry. One of my favorites when I can find it available.

Buy all 3 and let the fish decide.

Bama Bug is a good compromise i the tie breaker is what YOU feel most confident using .

I flip around heavy lilly pads and thick bank cover and the Z-Man Palmetto Bug in Bama Bug has been lights out for me this year..
