It’s legal in most states.

I always thought it was the law......

micro-guides and braid = bread and butter

Oh man, someday I'm gonna be the first one to open a slow-pitch over the center of the plate like this and then I will get a SOLVED BY badge! Someday!

The only downside I have ever had was in freezing temps.  A little ice buildup in microguides and braid is not good.  Made casting almost impossible.

Can you run straight braid with micro guides?

Why not ? As long as they are alconite or better I say go for it.

Braid is small diameter line, not an issue with micro guides.

Knots guiding through micro guides can be tricky.

Braid not treated with Teflon or PolyU can absorb water and freeze to micro guides.

Sane people like me don't fish when it's that cold.
