I know I'm early on this, but I honestly believe he's the hottest Bass angler on the planet.

Yeah he hasn't won anything yet, but he's just on another level if you watch his videos.

He's also bringing lots of new people back into the derby side of the sport like myself.    I'm watching these Opens like a Hawk because of him, and a childhood friend fishing EQ.

The coolest thing about all this is he does his videos showing everything after these tourneys wrap up.  The videos after Eufaula were incredible.   It's crazy he's willing to show all this for free.

Free for us maybe but he’s getting paid

I agree Milliken is impressive.  I just wish he would change his name to something that is more auto correct friendly.  I think we’re gonna be taking about him a lot.

He's out there dominating again today with a gigantic swimbait using the scope.....he's the embodiment of the evolution of Bass fishing.

You are so spot on.  Dude is an absolute killer.  I've been watching his videos for years and so amped to see him just wrecking it on the tour

Ben is one of the few utubers that impresses me, I been wanting him to try some higher level events and he is impressing me again!  Plus 6sense baits flat work, caught several big bass on the swim jig and jerkbaits.  Its not just big bass, he catches huge trout as well, guy has got the juice!

There’s few folks who’ve mastered Livescope at an incredible level and they are doing very well in the bass and crappie  game. I’m sure Randy will have a new video out by midnight.

These upcoming "show all" videos are going to be epic.

He's not just leading, he's dominating the field both days.

He was on the same fish as the winner in Eufaula, took 5th, and very easily could have won it.    There was like half of dozen guys that knew the deal on Eufaula.

Seems like there is only one dude that knows the deal on TB this week.    I mean 2 dudes will be fishing tomorrow of the 10 that only caught 4 keepers today.

Besides the automatic Classic qualifier, how much cash is on the line.....$100k?

Opens pay around $40 to $50k to win don't they?

no clue, but you might be right, and the Elite series events pay out 100k to the winner.

There's no less than 1/2 dozen guys who would smoke Milliken!

Due to the off limits of the Open many locals who are guides would loose close to a month in wages.

35-40#+ stringer is highly possible!

Possibly true, but he’s currently smoking the 222 people that entered the tournament

I would imagine most people said he wouldn’t get a check before the season started

The home lake curse usually gets most guys.

He's got a limit right now and 10lb ahead, pretty much got this baby in the bag.

His stock is going to skyrocket after this win, I was telling Phishli yesterday I wish I could buy stock or bet on pro Bass fishing or anglers.

So they don’t want to give up a month’s wages for $50,000.  Wow, that means they must be pulling in over $600,000 a year guiding.   Who knew ? ?

The ole' Josh Jones excuse.

Yet in the comment sections I still see people putting JJ's name in the same sentence with Ben's.

A months salary is guaranteed, winning ain't.

A months salary plus entry fees, you would give that up?

The win is guaranteed if they could smoke Milliken, he’s way out in front

This is Ben's first derby on Toledo Bend, there are plenty of guys who've been fishing the lake for a long time, including some for decades.   Rick Clunn, who is also in it, has been fishing the lake since 1969.

Perhaps a local hammer or two might have gotten a few pounds more, and they had to fish the lake for thousands of hours to do so.   Ben shows up a month ago, then practice, and then does this.

Ben's achievement here is incredible.

Y'all are aware what Ben is doing is average at best. Ain't saying he ain't good but he ain't all that.

Clunn lives in Missouri & doesn't fish Toledo often.

I'm sure there is a better angler on Toledo Bend than Ben, but those guys won't be fishing the Classic next year like Ben ?
