What’s your favorite…

Featured Replies

I use a Denny Brauer Baby Structure Jig when I want a heavier hook. It comes in a 1/4 and a 3/8 oz sizes the bitsy bug and bitsy flip are some of my favorites also. But if I want something stout the Baby Structure Jig Is the money for me

I also have some x-zone craws in 3.5”. For now I’ll cut them down to fit.

1/4 oz Siebert dredge brush jig in black and blue with the skirt trimmed up a lot with a Zoom super chunk jr in flippin blue or a Berkley small chigger craw in Labatt seems to work really really well for the small lighter weight presentation!

Any color would work but I really like black and blue or some green/brown/orange/blue/red/purple (sunfish colors) combination 90% of the time.

I like either a Baby Boo in 5/16 or a 1/4 Bitsy Flip.  I start off by just hooking the trailer over the hook, but sometimes the bass want a smaller profile so the trailer gets threaded onto the hook.

When the bite gets really tough I will tie on a 1/8 Bitsy Bug.  Since they are smaller they will come through vegetation easier.

not sure what profile you’re after, but on a finesse jig the rage Ned bug looks awesome. I picked some up with some siebert lil man jigs and that will be my finesse jig this year. The rage Ned cutr worm is also the perfect size and makes for a mini swim jig.

One of my favorites as well. I also like the OSP Hunts with the same trailer.

Second the Luke Clausen compact pitching. Use for sparse vegetation, hard bottom, wood.

Like the Scott Canterbury Compact Flippin' Jig for moderate to heavy veggies.

Xzone Adrenaline craw or mid rage bug for more action, RI smallie beaver for compact subtle action, Yamamoto flappin hog for bulkier profile.

If I'm limited to a 1/4 oz. jig it will be an Oldham's Trailer Hitch Jig. For a trailer I'll use one of the following.

Gene Larew Salt Craw (I'll trim this down to about 3.5 inches)

Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Craw

Uncle Josh #11 Pork Frog
