my friend wants to see my secret lake.  he is looking for AirBnb's in the area for a 3 day.  i think i am laying my head down to sleep on a lakeside cabin, i could do it.    even better if is get his butt to pay for the cabin.  hahah..

i am (so far) blessed to be able to sleep.  if i have  2:30 am wakeup, i can force myself to lay down at 7:00 pm and get an actual decent sleep.

I LOVE fishing, and i am kinda getting better at it.  i just need to get into better fighing shape.  :D

I'm an 8 to 12  hour fisherman but not two days in a row. If I'm on vacation for a week or more , I'll fish every day  on and off.

I could, but I wouldn't want to.  Not in this heat.  It would take some careful planning to stay hydrated through all of that.

If you're pooped from the first day, you won't enjoy the second. It will seem like work (yuch!).

When I've gone the next day because on the first they were biting like crazy, on the second day they weren't.

When I was a kid my dad and his friends would take me fishing and after about 6 or 7 hours they would be ready to come back home,  I would complain because I wanted to stay and fish longer.  They used to say "You'll be our age someday".  These days my fishing trips are 6 to 8 hours long.

You can if you want to.

I sleep at the lake all the time.

Curious on how you do this, bring extra stuff and sleep in the truck? What have you found is a must pack

I keep a camping pillow, sleeping bag, hammock, and backpacking tent in my truck 100% of the time. Most of the time I just sleep on the deck of my boat. Sometimes I use the tent or hammock.
Every once in a while I’ll throw a cot in the truck but not a necessity for me.

Right now I have a tiny 70 degree summer backpacking sleeping bag in there. I have a 30 degree mummy bag for winter.

I'm picturing a full on bass boat with powerpoles down and a hammock strung between the front and back pedestal seats...  Sounds quite nice to me.
