To the guys who follow these events. Do you think we'll see any new reels from Shimano that we don't know about, or would there have already been rumors?

bassmaster has their new product tracking page up. they did a pretty good job of keeping it updated last year, the new SV Tatulas are up but nothing from Shimano for rods/reels yet.

 

 

Shimano Japan has a reveal this Friday (Thursday for us) looks like they're teasing a new spinning reel.

 

Awesome! Glad there's still hope. Hopefully a Vanford/Ci4 reel!

Daiwa has some stuff out that im syked about, but its mostly SW oriented.  Shimano may have a new Vanford out this year or next year.  Not sure how much they can improve without the price point changing too much.

Nice. Many upgrades.  I like the idea of the anti twist fin.   We will see about the cost though, I think it might stay the same.
