@Dwight Hottle is always a tough act to follow,

but I've got to start some where . . .

Got my best brown bass so far at 5-5.28

That's 5.33 divided by MI record 9.98 gets me to 53.40.

Still some room to grow I think

There’s a part of me that’s hoping Lynn joins the forum if only for one post to submit an entry fee for him. 😂

Oh my, please excuse my mistake.

I'll go with one my Dad used to tell me all the time growing up.

"If you had half a brain, you'd be dangerous".

He was so supportive.

Managed to top my last entry, but just barely.

This one was 5.37 lbs

divided by MI record state record smallmouth bass of 9.98

gets me to 53.80.

A 0.4 pt improvement while it is better,

I still think I can do quite a bit better.

Time will tell.

@A-Jay - you're too cool to fish down South!  Is that an insult?  Gosh I hope so!  😂😂😂♥️♥️♥️

Well - I went ahead and tied my PB of 11 lb 5 oz today!

Absolutely beyond blessed and grateful to have caught this monster - details in the latest catch thread!

11 lb 5 oz (11.3) ÷ 15 lb 14 oz (15.8) x 100 = 71.5

Wow - What a giant !

Congrats on matching your PB.

So does that count as two PB's ?

Nicely Done.

That's one heck of a fertile fishery.

btw-  even though your entry fee has been duly paid a few times over now,

feel free to cast A-Bombs my way as the mood strikes you.

@A-Jay - you need a haircut. :dance:

Here's my entry, caught 5/15/25.

Prespawn brownie that measures 20.25 inches and weighed at 5 lbs 4 oz (5.25) pounds on a digital scale.

5.25 divided by 8.0 (MN state record) = 0.656 x 100 = 65.6

*Upgrade alert

Caught this particularly bulbous specimen this morning.  It's 1/4 inch shorter than my previous entry but a fair amount chubbier.  And since this thread is by weight, this fish is a slight improvement.

20 inches

5.68 pounds (5 pounds, 11 ounces) / 8.0 pounds (MN state record) = 0.71 x 100 = 71.0

@gim monster! Nice fish man. If my reading is correct, that puts you .5 behind @Pat Brown for the lead.

Honestly if I finish on the podium in this I would be pretty impressed with myself.  There are a lot of good sticks here.

Plus for now it puts me as the top smallmouth score.

Now hold on one New York Minute . . . . .

Looks like your state record brown bass is a bit of a mystery.

What is this 'Uncertified' deal all about ?

You can most certainly expect some type of official investigation regarding this Tom Foolery.

Or at the very least an * (asterisk) next to your entry.
