Didn’t look like it was gonna happen either. Just when he said he couldn’t feel the fish on anymore, up it comes. 

Man Lowen is putting on a show now......caught like 14-15lbs in 20mins.

Bill seems like one of the really good dudes on the tour.   Always giving little kids free BASS memberships.    Hopefully he can get it done over the weekend

Way back in 2015 I was at the weigh in for the AOY event at Mille Lacs (September) when they were still doing the final championship event of the season.  It was held at a casino and we were there on day 2 which was a Friday.

 

There was a seafood buffet that started at 5pm right after the weigh in and I saw Bill Lowen absolutely destroy about 5 plates of snow crab legs that night from a distance.  He musta really cranked up an appetite that day fishing.

I started to mention this yesterday, I’ve been receiving Bassmaster magazine for about 6 months. I have no ideal why. I mean last year I watched every tournament and commented on X, YouTube etc.. 

 

I have no clue how they got my address or the why of it. However I do appreciate it.. 🤷‍♂️

I’ve been a life member since 1998 and they cut out all my stuff plus membership! I had to call (4 times as of yet) to get it straightened out and all I have is promises. The good ‘ole “wait a few weeks, it’s in the mail”.
Sheeeeese, what a disaster they’ve become.

Wow, that’s awful. I’m not sure what’s going on either.. I haven’t been a member in years and I just bought this acreage a year or so. It just makes no sense. Hope you get it straightened out..

Thanks, me too. It was just all the sudden, the magazines quit then website access and now like I totally don’t exist, nothing. They even had to give me a new membership number which does nothing for me, and have yet to receive any membership information.

Now marketing sends me a link to the website daily to “Join Bassmasters”.

It never does. Not everyone has a Marshall and most guys sandbag and tell the Marshall smaller weights. It’s a thing

Didn’t realize that. I thought everyone angler had a Marshall.
Do camera crews go along with the Marshalls only or are there more Marshalls and fewer cameras?

I think they try to have all Marshalls but come up a few short sometimes. The number is live cameras is way less, not sure how many but maybe 12-15? Just a guess. Marshals can use their phones to film things tho 

 

then you run into the different issue of cell service, several places they fish have none so no footage or live updates

Nope, didn’t say in the article on Bassmaster. 

I knew they have a limited number of cameras but assumed everyone had a Marshall in their boat for the sake of transparency.

Only top 6 had a camera. Every competitor is required to have a camera recording the entire day. 
meaning a go pro camera or similar in the boat.
