Small Tackle Bag?

I currently use this for bank fishing - https://www.academy.com/p/h2ox-premier-worm-binder It's been holding up a couple of years and I have no complaints.

I don't use it for a soft plastics binder though. I removed the clear binders and I use the main compartment for a 3600 size box. It will fit 2 3600 sized boxes actually, but normally I use only 1. I put some bags of soft plastics in the main compartment, with the primary soft plastics I use in the small compartment. It actually is a nifty little system.

The only thing is... sometimes I wish it was identical except large enough for 3700 sized boxes. In other words, just a touch larger. Anyone use something similar or know of something similar?

I use a cheap bass pro sling pack out of the camping section. It will fit up to two 3600 boxes. I use smaller boxes tho like the 3500 or smaller. And a gallon ziplock bags for plastics.

Three 3500 boxes come with it if you choose to use all three for bank fishing. Very pleased with product.

Walmart Ozark Trails another small bank fishing product that is in my car ready for what may come up and the neighborhood ponds. Comes with 3 3500 boxes.

Have found another place for bank fishing with plenty of shoreline access. Did some surfing on the net and bought from Amazon a backpack which I've never used. Want to move faster. There are plenty of backpacks that handle 3700 boxes. I opt to go lighter. Will see how it works out.

I have a totally different consideration, I fish often in my fishing partners boat and I am limited on how much gear to bring.  It needs to fit in the rear compartment of a 20 foot Ranger.  I ended up with a Plano salt water bag that holds 4 3700 boxes and there’s enough room in the locker for a couple more by themselves.  I also wanted a clip style lid and not a zippered lid.  The only bag that had that was salt versions.

Since I'm a minimalist I use a fanny pack.  I have a travel bag with room for 4 3700s and 2 3600s plus clothes and reels when I did salt water trips.

How do you like the Fanny pack? I’m considering one. As I could probably get by with that lil amount of stuff no problem

i have this bag.  i love it.  looks like the price is higher than when i got it.  a little bit.

this bag is fantastic.  i have taken it to hike the shorelines of Oklahoma lake Texoma, and this tiny bag carried all my gear for mexico bass fishing.  i did also bring one of those clear bait bags for soft plastics.   but the sling carried all the hard plastics, and termnial tackle, gear, and spare line spools.  it was sick and the outside pockets allowed quick access to pliers and braid shears.    it was awesome have a safe haven for my cell phone.

I’ve considered a Fanny pack too for when I go lightweight. I often slip a bag of soft plastics and a few books in my pocket. Plus I’ll take 1-2 hard baits. However, I haven’t found a really convenient way to carry those soft plastics. Most of the time I just put them in the bag with a soft plastics, but they end up poking me, or getting tangled.

I've been using a BPS 3600 bag for about 8 years or so ever since the hinge broke on my old tackle box.  I can either carry it by the handle, or attach the strap and wear it like a back pack.

^^^ true.

the superpower of the sling pack is i can pivot the bag to my front, grab something out of it and pivot it back behind me.  no need to take it off.

i had a pack and it wasnt ideal.

Fishing vest is the answer, comfortable and convenient, carry more or less and be good. Couple little plastic boxes for a few hard baits and you're golden.

I also only fish in cargo pants now, more room to keep everything available to quickly handle a fish. Pliers, scale, scissors all accessible immediately without needing to put anything down or move my bag. It's just there and ready.

Pliers are usually back pocket or belt holster. Scissors are on a retractable clip to a belt loop. Efficiently get the bass back in the water with speed

I have been leaning toward a fanny pack as well. Going to see what plano has to offer.

My hot orange one from the 90's doesn't have enough pockets and is full of New Kids on the Block trading cards.

This is what I use KK Baitspace Sling Bag; If you purcahse use my code GEKBA10 for a discount

I usually want to carry more than even a 4x3600 Plano Weekender can fit....and I found this one.

Fits 6x3600 boxes in main compartment (more if you use 3601-slims), 1x3600 box in front zip pocket and 1x3600 box in the 'top tray' held in place by bungee cord (or 2x3601). Molle attachments on front, slim pocket between those and the 3600 pocket for a few packets of plastics, left side narrow pockets will hold 2xBerkley jars each, right side pocket will hold what tools I need, and another slim pocket in front of that, and there's a rear slim pocket for more plastics if you want. Hard base, metal clips for the shoulder-strap....it really is a nice bag and has served me well for 4 years now and is still in great condition.
