I have that same exact reel, to be honest i like my new curado better.

 Not familiar with either one, except good companies. So, I just wanted to say it's great to save up and then get what you really want. Glad for you fella!

dang, Muddy if i had known that you were looking for a pflueger baitcaster I could have gotten you one this coming weekend at the shakespeare yard sale where pflueger sells all of their unsold reels for 30-80 percent off.  Trions are 70, Presidents are 100 and supreme's are 130 bucks

not to rub it in or anything muddy, but I have a president already and a supreme on the way   ;D ;D

Pflueger makes the best reels for the money, but shimano has the best reels if your looking to spend 200-500 bucks. This is something I will always say and you can't argue until you own one of the higher end pfluegers.

Good choice Muddy I also bought a new Trion this winter, can't wait to use it. I got the wide spool, feels good in my big mits.

i have the trion  but see i said i like my curado better because i got them for about the same price.

The reason is because i work for a sporting good store and our fishing vendor is a good friend of mine and he gives me his catalog so i can get it at his price.

Dont get me wrong the trion is great for the price and alot of people own it.

But in my situation the curado came at a nice price.
