Double Colorado Blade Spinnerbaits.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I can't find any spinnerbaits with two Colorado blades (I prefer hammered blades, but I'll take smooth ones, if necessary). At best, I find a spinnerbait with one Colorado and one Willow blade. Back in the day when I first started fishing for bass, a spinnerbait with two Colorado blades (hammered or smooth) could be found everywhere. Are spinnerbaits with two Colorado blades no longer offered these days?

Thanks,

Matt

The hammered blades are hard to find on a bait in the stores anymore, I have to make my own to get those.

Booyah “Tux and Tails” are the only hammered double Colorado I’ve seen in a long time.

Get some Colorados uas spinnerbait with willow on the swivel and swap them.

Double Colorado Spinnerbaits, do not work anymore. All of the lakes I fish, bass will only hit willow leaf spinnerbaits, and if you happen to see me throwing double Colorado blades, either you need to get your eyes checked, or you should mind your own business.

Doesn't War Eagle make them?

There's a reason most spinnerbait guys are known to build their own.

Yes, but not many places carry them it doesn't seem like.

I think this is going to be my best option. Now I need to start building a kit for making spinnerbaits.

Thanks for the link. But honestly, after reading another user's about your jigs (sorry, I can't remember their user name), I'm saving up some money to buy some of your jigs. It's clear they're very well made, and they look amazing! I'm getting ready to move to Az, so all of my money is tied up in moving. But once settled and I have some money, I'll be placing an order for your jigs. I can't wait to get my hands on them!

When you get ready, Barlow’s or Lure Parts Online should be able to fix you up.

@Jig Man Thanks for the suggestions! I looked at both of their products for making lures. I'll definitely be buying from both of them when I start to build my own kit.
