Which Lucky Craft Lure for Christmas?

Featured Replies

If you could only get one Lucky Craft lure for Christmas which one would you ask Santa/BaitMonkey for?

Just in case, same question for Megabass lures, even though Santa will probably never deliver one.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

Pointer 78sp in Ghost Minnow

Megabass- buy 2 LC instead

I am a bait junkie and get lures delivered from Japan weekly (dam you ebay!) so I have tried just about all manufacturers. What kind of lure are you looking for; jerkbait, topwater, crankbait, etc?

Allen

I'd also go with a Pointer. The 78DD is a killer!

The LV-500 in Ghost Minnow or Chartreuse Shad.

Depends on the fishing I will be doing.

What are you wanting?  A crankbait, topwater, jerkbait, lipless bait?

Sorry,

I wanted my question to be a general "What would you like?" kind of question.

Just wanted to hear opinions and thoughts.

For me personally, since I don't own one, a Mega Bass lure.  Maybe an Ito Vision 110.

A Lucky craft LV-0 , Aurora gray is my favorite color. For Megabass, I haven't had a chance to really fish with them yet.I bought the Deep X200 series crankbaits, Live X levianthan, flap slap so far. I took the levianthan and the DeepX200 to the lake to test them and I caught a largemouth and a smallmouth while testing them, its difficult to ask anything more from them than that. Ivan

Your first LC should be a Sammy. You might have that lure the rest of you life and you will always be able to say, "That is my first Lucky Craft." The other series are great lures, too. Unfortunately, lures that are fished underwater sometimes decide to take up permanent residence.

So far, I like every series of LC I have fished. My favorite is the Pointer 128.

hey guys, by chance anyone konw what all those codes mean at the end?  it would be cool to konw cause then it woudl be easier to konw what they do i guess.  how do you guys decide when there are like thousands of them to choose from.  what would you guys recommend for florida lets say for an outfit setup for topwater/shallow to medium crank?  thanks

With regard to the LC Pointer:

SP = Shallow Pointer 3-5' deep

DD = Deep Diver       5-7' deep

The suspension depth will vary according to line thickness and how aggressively you crank it down.

For most of the natural lakes in Florida, the "SP" is perfect, but on really shallow flats

you'll have to pansy crank, so not to slam the bottom (then again, you may want that bottom puff).

I will second the Pointer 100 in Chartreuse Shad and the Pointer 100 SP Nishiki and many others those are the main ones, I have some more coming in tomorrow I'll see if I can Post about them... if I don't have to Pawn My computer for lure money... I don't have a problem!...I can quit any time I want to... I-I just don't want to thats all.

Tough one, but here goes, a Rick Clunn 2.5 in Purple Perch for dock largemouths.]

With red Gam's, Corey

POINTER 100 SP IN AMERICAN SHAD.

Pointer 100 DD Ghost Minnow

SAMMY   LESS CHANCE OF LOSING IT!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I have a lot of Lucky Craft Lures and my favorite and most used is the Pointer 100SP in whatever color you like.  If I had to only choose one, that would be it.

I would like a Sammy in American shad.  That lure looks simply amazing, and since I love topwaters so much, I would love to get one someday.

I have a 78SP in Nishiki, and have had it for a little over a week, and just got around to bringing myself to take it out of the package.  Now actually using it is another story. ;D
