PLine CXX 8 lb. moss green

Trilene big game  8(hard to find)10, 12 pound test GREEN

All depends on the cranks, cover, and depth your look to get to.  10lb co-poly is a great place to start.

P-Line CXX 6lb. and Yozuri Hybrid 6 lb. - Smaller cranks, shallow divers

Trilene 100% Fluoro 10 lb. - Larger cranks, deep divers

10# Yo-Zuri Ultra soft shallow

12# Yo Zuri Ultra Soft  medium to deep

Agreed.  Except I don't use Ultra Soft.  Regular Hybrid does just find for me.

Trilene big game 8(hard to find)

Didn't even know this line existed, I have never seen it in stores. Went to Berkley's web site and saw it there, I am going to have to get some.

I used mainly 12lb Trilene 100% this year because I had it to spare (several bulk spools).  I'm not sure I could recommend fluoro over my clear cxx for cranking if I were buying filler spools.  You have to decide whether you want a little more depth, or a little more abrasion resistance.

What lb CXX are you using?  I use Trilene 100% 12 lb as well, but have a special place in my heart for CXX.

Not sure what The_Natural is using, but I use 8# and 10#.

Sufix Elite in 8# and 12#, and 30# PowerPro in and over the heavier vegetation.

12# either Sufix Elite and/or Seaguar InvizX.

Gonna try new AbrazX.

I'm too scare to throw deep divers on 10#

Don't see how most people do it.

I use 10lb mainly, but have gone to 8lb with confidence.  The Trilene 100% is great, and definitely has the most abrasion resistance of any fluoro I've tried, but CXX is....CXX  :).

BB35 - don't be afraid.

Well, if you have #12 Yo-Zuri Hybrid or Hybrid Ultra Soft

spooled up on all your baitcasters like you're suppose to,

you don't need to change a thing.

::)

I love the Trilene, but like you said CXX is hard to beat. I need to respool my crankin reel and was wondering about the pound, I just hate loosing a crank bait.  I normally use a deeper crank than the depth I am in, so I might try the 10 lb CXX

O please, tried your advise on Yo Zuri Ultra Soft on my spinning outfit 2 years ag with Lucky Craft pointer. Stripped it off immediately. Worse line ever. Then took other advise of yours to try Fat Ika, worse gimmick I've played with. Ain't listen to "fishing God" no more. ;D
