Im going to do just one for now.....because its the one i just got today. It is quickly becoming a favorite though! It is a new series Shimano Cumara 7' 11" flippin rod paired with a Gen3 Revo SX. The colors of the reel and rod go perfectly. This set-up is actually lighter than my 7' 7" Crucial and STX. I got it as a punching set up but i think the tip is a bit too stiff for that technique. Anyhow, its a keeper for sure!

Thnx guys, i tried the G3 STX and even a Quantum Smoke on it but i keep coming back to the SX. Who wuda thought, Shimano & Abu playing nice!

I'm with RW post #179. That being said, being an old guy and applying the "Buffet Theory" I have also accumulated much fishing tackle over the years including collector type items. It goes with the territory! I sure love looking at everyones tackle though, and wish all posters & members happy and highly successful fishing! Thank you all so much for sharing, it helps pass the cold weather months.

OK Im not going to lie . ive never taken a pic of my set up. but ive got 2 ! 1 quantum smoke bait caster with smoke 6'8 MH  , My 2nd is a Glomis gl2 MH 7 rod with a shimano Stradic 3000.

Here are a few of my new "Custom" Ambassadeur reels,and new rods to go with them. The reels are (2) 250C's,(2)4500C's,and a 5500C. The rods are a Zombie 7'4" med heavy,Megabass. G-AX, Megabass Jabberwok,Irod 693 med heavyset, and a Phenix PHX 683. All the reels have been upgraded with ABEC7 ceramic bearings,and Carbontex drag washers. The 2500CI's have gearing upgrades (5.3:1 on the Green reel,and 6.0:1 on the Gold reel). The Green reel also has an Avail light weight spool, and both reels have swept drag star wheels,and handles.The other 3 reels have dual bearing worm gears,and cog wheels,and driveshaft bearings,and the Black 4500C,and Violet 5500C have ABEC 7 ceramic bearings,and Avail lightweight spools. The Violet 4500C has all the bearing upgrades,and lightweight spool,but the spool spins on polished brass bushings.

new reel came in today for my new spinning setup...I got the Abu Garcia Orra S30 to go on my 7' M action Abu Garcia Vendetta 2

 

cant wait to try out a little drop shot and shaky head on it really soon
