Guess the next HOT BAIT

Featured Replies

We've lived through the recent Chatterbait and Basstrix craze. So... what's your guess at the next new hot bait craze that will sweep bass fishing. From some of the reports I've heard early this year, here's my guess at the next lure craze, the Sebile Magic Swimmer swimbait.

Can't wait to toss them for pike.

I picked up 2 of these during the winter...Havnt a chance yet, SOON!

FYI:  I found mine at Dicks for those that have one close by

I've just ordered one. :)

i'm sure the tackle manufacturers will let us know real soon

It might not be THE hot bait, but this is my new hot bait:

Yamamoto The Kreature - T-rigged backwards (thank you Fat Ika),  with a 1/16 bullet weight pegged on top.  Caught a ton of fish in my last tourney with it.  Good fer flipping and casting.

The Zoom 10.5in Ol Monster worm gets my vote or any monster bait for that matter.  Bigger baits (swimbaits, ect.)  and heavy long rods seem to be the new thing (again).

What ever I'm not using...

My vote goes to the Rattle Head Spinner Bait, awesome spinner bait.It will only take a pro to win something with them and look out you better have them before that happens. It has a unique sound and an excellent hook up to landing ratio because of the free swinging hook. Oh did I mention that the bass inhaled the bait I saw no need for a trailer hook.

6" Huddleston. Watch.

Right on.  Sweet bait.

You ALL have it wrong. Nice guesses though. It will be whatever they call that ridicolus (?) buzzbait that B.D. hawks. You know the one, it has a frame that's like 18" long. They will also come out with a saltwater version for tuna, billfish and the like. So, you get yourself a  dozen of these baits to beat the rush. You have to get a special kvd SUPER-BUZZBAIT-BINDER to carry them in. Oh yes, the lure requires a "special" rod that rm is testing for production as i write this.

Anything to do with BIG M. At least people on this website anyway.

Scronger Head with a fluke or the Skinny Dipper.

$16 to $20 for a lure????  No thank!  I'll just stick with my $3 bag of flukes.   :)

Because flukes obviously catch everything. ::)

im gona say the rage tail shad. i think people are going to find other ways to fish it as i have than just on top.:)

Scronger Head with a fluke or the Skinny Dipper.

X2
