b       The salt or the plastic are the only real variables to consider. Yammies are 'soft plastic' with large 'hunks' of salt, and most other baits are 'medium plastic' with a softener and smaller grains of salt so that more plastic "adheres" to more plastic. (thus avoiding the 'cracking' ; like a senko)

I think thats the key something different will work lots of times. I really like the fact that I have a lot of old eastern style stuff in the midwest. AC SHiners, Poes ect. You don't see those as much in Missouri and Kansas. I guess cause Bass Pro doesn't sell them. Anyway they seem to work and I think it's because the fish don't see them as much.

Creme's worms still work well, especially when finesse fished with a small hook and a light weight. Great darting action.

I use them only in back of tributaries/creeks where there are small water moccasins.  Anywhere else it is rather unnatural.

Yes, hundreds of dollars worth of tackle and I can still catch lots of bass on Berkeley Power worms, blue fleck or electric grape are my favorite colors. It's good to have something you can depend on! lp

2ND that....lovin the chompers stick baits and really anything they are making right now.  It makes me sick to smell them but they are nice.

I just purchased a large lot of plastics because i only wanted the rebel ringworms,strike king diamond worms and knight tube worms,i have grouped the rest with photo and posted it on our sell board,hope someone is looking for these.

I still use 8'' Creme Scoundrel worms nearly every trip. I use the 8'' also for floating worm duty as well as Texas rigs. I do use the 6'' and the 4'' versions too occasionally, but the 8 is by far my most used size. I love the 9'' Jelly worms too, but sadly they are extinct and can only be found on ebay for crazy money. Please, someone start remaking the jelly worms!

R.I. 8.25” Fat Flirt worm is a good replacement for 8” Jelly Worm

OG 7.5 Culprits for sure. Surprised nobody has mentioned Renegades. Grew up in the 90's in a small town, Wal-Mart was all we had.

Yes. Still have some Mann's, some The Tube Worm's and Creme's pre-rigged from 40+ years ago (my grandfather's before he died).
