Pegging Solutions

Featured Replies

I want to peg my Texas-rig weight to make it stop sliding but I have had no luck using a toothpick.

Is there anything else out there to peg my weight?

Look no further my man, here ya go!

These are what i use for flippin' and they do great! Lets the sinker slide up and out of the way easily!

You can also try using rubber bands. They're practically free and works great. Check my pics on another forum.

The texas jigheads are good, and screw in sinkers (florida rigs) work well, but this one is the bomb:

I use the Luck "E" Strike Perfect worm Rig. It works great.

Look into parasite weights. I love mine.

These are my favorite option.  The weight is stationary, and by design it protects the bait from tearing and from sliding down the hook.  These are well worth the money.

This is even easier. Cut a rubberband and tie it,  overhand knot just above your weight. Trim tag ends and your ready. Works good and is adjustable by sliding up if needed. You can even get fancy and use red rubberbands.  ;)

I used the "rubber band" technique for years, using rubber skirt material.  Then I discovered Peg-Its and never went back.  Same concept, but much faster and easier.
