What color trailer you guys use when using a black/blue jig?

Do you match the color with say a junebug trailer or go any color.

Haven't tried my black/blue jig yet but plan to tomorrow.

This is going to sound crazy but it has won a few tournaments on a well known muddy lake around here. Use a Green Pumpkin trailer on a Black and Blue Jig. I've tried it the few times I've fished stained to muddy water and it works.

I use a Netbait Paca Chunk in the Okeechobee Craw color. They're pretty cheap and work for me.

doesn't sound crazy at all Gene. it can match without being the same color. a nice contrast can be the ticket. an old fart on the boards recommended this one to me and they're bad ***. Salt Craw the claws stand up well when it comes to a rest, which is key

Black/blue, sapphire blue, blueberry, purple, blackberry, black, and GP.

Jig trailer color to me means little to nothing. Crawfish come in so many variations of colors. just try to match the common colors on the body of water that you are fishing on.

I really like a green pumpkin trailer for a black and blue jig, mainly because the water I fish is pretty clear. I think the GP trailer looks a little more natural then a black and blue trailer. When the water gets a little stain to it, I'll use a sapphire, and black trailer. I'll switch from one to anther until I find which one they like better on any particular day.

1) Black n Blue claws or blue flake

2) Blue saphire

3) Okeechobee Craw

I have a color that should be out this month called "Blue Bug" and it's my favorite for Black n blue jigs... it's a laminated color - Black back and Blue Saphire belly. It's RIGHT! I think BPS and/or *** were the first to order and should have them soon, if not already. Let me know if you get a chance to ck'em out .

What Rage baits will be available in this color?

I assume your discussion here is about Craws but I'd love to see this color for Anacondas and Big Thumpers. Still would prefer worms being available in pure black though.

The Rage Craw at this point! And I'm trying for Black or Black n Blue or Black Neon on the big worms too!

Yes. The majority of time, you want your trailer color to compliment the jig skirt.  By that I mean a natural progression of color from the jig head to the tips of your trailer, just as in nature. The least complex of course, would be matching the skirt as best as possible, but that doesn't mean it's the only, or best option.  That is, however where I suggest starting when fishing new water, or only using a jig on rare occasions. IMO, there is no Wrong color for a trailer. Some are just a better option to get more bites.  A trailer's action and size has more influence on my choice.
