My wife's cousin was killed when the driver of truck lost control on a icy highway. The truck rolled and she was thrown out of the vehicle. She has an 18 month boy who is in critcial condition in mott's children hospital. The father died last year. The boy if survives is now without both parents.

Please slow down and be careful out there as winter is fast approaching. For many it's already here.

Thanks,

Matt

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I'm truly sorry to hear. I hope the child does pull through.

Is wrong of me to ask If so I apologize if the child does survive who the caretakers are? He won't go to foster home will he?

Very difficult news to hear. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I hope the baby makes a full recovery.

Very difficult news for your family. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved. I know it is not the best comfort, but if one of my children needed serious medical attention C.S. Motts Children's Hospital is the best place to be.

His grandparents. His grandfather's a good guy and about the best choice for him. To be quite honest.

Recent update from wife who just got back, says it's looking like the little guy will pull through. Only time will tell now,he's pretty banged up with broken bones and head injuries.

My kid goes to Mott's as well for his autism problems among other things and I agree with you Nick76,it's the best place to be as far as medical attention goes.

Terrible news for all involved. At least the little guy will be staying with his family and hopefully is young enough that he will have no memory of such a terrible event :(

Yes,just found out this morning. The little boy is improving and went home with the grandparents. Definitely good news there. His mother's viewing is today and funeral tomorrow.

You're right that is good news for the boy. Thanks for sharing Grimlin!
