What are you looking for in a sales associate.
I've helped more people at my Dicks than I've seen their employees do. It's sad. I'm pretty sure you will shine if you are just there to answer questions and steer beginners in the right direction. It's not about sales it's about costomer service.

Quick Drop Shot tackle question
A #1 or 1/0 Octopuss or Mosquito hook will work just fine if not better than a drop shot hook.

Braided.........Mono..........Fluro???
First of all Welcome to BassResource. Frogs - Braid Cranks and Spinnerbaits and topwater - Mono or Co-Poly I like some stretch in my line when using Cranks, SB, and topwater because it makes it a little more forgiving on hooksets witch results in more hookups. If I need my line to float I just rub some wax on the last three feet or so. I use Fluorocarbon on all my sinking baits like jigs, t-rigs, jig-heads an so on.

Drop shotting. Solving a hookset problem.
You can do that if you use a stiffer rod and line that's heavier than 8lb test because when you texas rig a worm it requires a harder hookset than with an open hook.

Long cast, medium cast or shorter cast??? I need some opinions.
I made the change a few years ago. I got away from always trying to get the longest cast. Now my philosophy is to make the shortest cast I can get away with. My hook-up rate went way up.

Going to Hawaii... NEED IDEAS
The only place I know of to catch peacock is on Oahu. There aren't any lakes on The Big Island. The Kona coast is legendary for great fishing. Get a guide for a day and have a blast.

Difference between Milfoil and Hydrilla
As soon as I saw it, I wondered who would take the first shot! Well played, Wayne. ;D Sorry Gator! After three years of ribbing from you guys I've gotten used to it. lol And for those who don't know. That 9.98 is still my personal best. :

Difference between Milfoil and Hydrilla
Sometimes, Yes When found in the same lake Millfoil starts growing in early spring and bass will move into it to find something to eat. As the spring turns to summer you will notice that the Hydrilla is growing a lot faster and taller than the millfoil and in some cases it will choke the millfoil out. As it heats up the water looses its ability to hold oxygen the Hydrilla, and what millfoil is left will be producing oxygen so the bass will move into it to stay alive. Whatever plant is producing the best oxygen and holding the most food will be holding the most bass. I won a late summer tournament with Senko77 a few years ago and the pattern was simple. I spent three days dragging a 1oz jig and pulling up Millfoil. Most of the Millfoil in the lake was dead but when I found a patch that was green the bass were stacked in there. I didn't need to catch a fish in practice to know where the fish would be during the tournament. I found four spots like this in my area of the lake and we ended up with a 25.8lb sack with a 9.98 kicker. 2nd place was 12+lbs.

Newbe from Ga.
Wecome from another GA fisherman. To find level you need to put the boat in the water. You want the deck to be level with the the water line.

Guntersville Info
Bobby, Check out Guntersville State Park. Their Hotel is awesome and they have a good boat ramp.
-
where are you catching your fish?
In the heat of the summer small lakes loose their ability to hold usable oxygen due to high water temps. The fish will move around untill the find oxygen. Find where the water is entering the lake. This will be where the most oxygen is.

How often do you fish?
Two or three days a week.
