  1. Neither of those were designed for or claim to protect your reel. If you are looking for something to protect the looks of your reel then a reel cover is the only way to go. If you are looking for something to protect the functionality of your reel then keep it clean and oil it regularly.
  2. I totally agree with Sam. Designing booths is big business.
  3. Only if you do a search for Bass Resource and join ours. lol ;D
  4. I'm more concerned with keeping money in my wallet at the point. I don't care what country it's made in.
  5. Yes, Yes, and Yes. I use it to condition my guides and clean my rods. It's also great for use as a cleaner for the screen of your fish finder. It takes the finger prints right off.
  6. They started a smoking ban in my county two years ago and the restaurant's revenue actually went up. It's been a good thing so far.
  7. Also if your set on March and you want to try for some trophy Smallmouth I know a great guide on the Tennessee River. He should be doing laps on Pickwick that time of year...... Last year he sent me several pictures of his clients holding two 6lb SM in the same picture.
  8. Yea, Randall is a well known member of this forum and a good friend of mine. I've fished with and against him several times. My best friend is his tournament partner. He is one of the best. Any of the the lakes that you picked are great. If your looking at late March then Guntersville or Lake Fork are the best choices. If you choose to go in early April you might as well come on up to Kentucky Lake with the rest of us. Our Roadtrips are always a blast.
  9. Ben, Have you been to Varner yet?
  10. Let it rain. My lake is 13 feet low. When your talking about 71,000 acres that's alot of water. So let it rain.
  11. Welcome to the family.
  12. In my opinion - yes The props still have a flash. The bass can still see it. Last year I was using a white with gold blade and not catching a thing. I switched to a white with silver blade and started catching fish. One that day it made a difference.
  13. That's the great thing about marketing. It's amazing what a little air time does. As for the chatterbait. I think a caught three fish on one.
  14. I've done everything I can to fix the link but it just won't work. Go pour yourself a cold glass of prune juice and take a nap before trying to fix it on your end.
  15. I have a closet upstairs for the "Other than Bass" fishing stuff. And my garage is dedicated to bass fishing now. I use cheep plastic shelving and a vertical rod rack.
  16. Not at all. Just make sure you have some of our phone numbers so you can let us know that have arrived and so we can fill you in on what's going on.
  17. Nope but you can pack up am move on down here. There's plenty of warm water to fish in.
  18. I looked and looked but I can't seem to find any little smiley faces giving the finger... I have one with TWO "FINGERS" but I don't think I would be the Moderators favorite person after posting it . :-/ You go back to dropshotting ledges on your lake and I'll keep catching them shallow on mine. Come to think of it. I need to get up there and spend a day on your boat Mike. I'll shoot you a line when I'm in the area.
  19. Let's see...... It will be 65 degrees tomorrow and once again I'll be on the lake with spotaholic. Winter is great.
  20. Please clear your Cache. Thanks
  21. Let me know when you do it and I'll rearrange the stickies.
  22. When you buy a bag you'll know what he's talking about.
  23. It sucks having a state record that may be bogus and will never be beaten in the state where it was caught. No chance in hell.
  24. The fist thing I look at is water color/clearity to determine how far the fish can see. Then I adjust my lures accordingly and fish to my strengths.
  25. I just use a q-tip and JJ's Magic
