  1. In my home lake if you don't have a depthfinder you are screwed. Even if you've been fishing the lake for years you still can run up on a hump in the middle of the lake and then come off of it without a lower unit. It doesn't matter what boat you have a fishfinder is a safety item that is a must.
  2. Great fish Billy. I see you've been getting Spotted Bass instructions from the best. Now if you can only put it to work on Jackson during this year's night tournaments.
  3. Texas Roadhouse. I don't likeSticky Fingers' ribs. They are no where near the best.
  4. Cool. Welcome to BassResource and welcome to the US Market. I am excited to try your line.
  5. I just wanted to let everyone know that these trips are not expensive. We share expenses and rides and we have dinners at night that help keep the individual cost down. I think I spent a total of 550 bucks on the Guntersville trip. That includes pulling a boat to and from, getting a guide, gas, food, cabin rental and everything else. It's very possible for anyone on a budget to go on this trip. Just start planning now.
  6. Holy crap Mike those things are monsters, and they came out of Allatoona!!!!!!
  7. Spot Remover with a Green Pumpkin Finesse Worm dipped in JJ's Magic.
  8. That's cool. You might as well go ahead and start designing you coin.

  11. Have you looked at www.campmor.com. I've been using them since I hiked half the Appalachian Trail 14 years ago. They always have the best prices. Be sure to check out the Sales. Here's that exact tent for 199. http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=39354670&memberId=12500226&catalogId=40000000226
  12. That looks absolutly amazing. Great job. I hope you haven't mounted the trolling motor yet. Because if you haven't go ahead and take it back to the store and get you a cable steer. Those motors are a pain in the butt. This should explain all the problems with the Power Drive. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1195155298/0
  13. Well I just started my last shift at work before I hit the road. I will be staying at my parents house tomorrow then Sunday morning I hit the road, swing by the Atlanta Airport to pic up Mass Hole Mike and then make a B-line to Guntersville. I am so excited I'm gonna bust.
  14. SFC-P Al Your last Rocker. That is great. Now all you need is a little diamond or a star in the middle.
  15. Yea it sucks. I woke up today and put on my shorts and t-shirt. The water temps on my lake is 60 and bass are moving up on the beds so I might go fishing. But I need to go shopping with my wife.
  16. Champ has got his opinion and that's fine. Please excuse his honesty. He is suffering from a classic case of Foot in Mouth disease.
  17. Fish that son of a gun. There is bound to be some fish in it. Heck I'd fish a mud puddle if it looked fishy.
  18. May should be prime time topwater. The lake is doing fine. It is on it's way up but it is still about 8 or 9 feet low. They extended the ramps at Wildwood while it was down. the fishing has been great for the last two or three weeks. It's shaping up to be a good year. It will be interesting to see how the hydrilla recovers.
  19. How about a parachute in the rear like on a drag car.
  20. Mike I will PM you mine.
  21. If you have any suggestions for his low cost show feel free to PM him. Here's his profile. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?action=viewprofile;username=61656769480C0
  22. Just in case you didn't know. The host is a respected member of this forum. He has helped us out in the past and he is about to do it again. His show isn't supposed to be about a pro angler going fishing. Is supposed to be about a regular guy who likes to fish who goes fishing in very interesting places with regular people. If you want to see a pro fish and push all his sponsors junk then watch something else.
  23. Clipper is my Farther-in-Law and yep I am proud. Great fish David.
